How to Use

Picks random animals from a list of 75 and shows each one's emoji, name and category. Draw one animal or up to 20 at a time with no repeats, limit the draw to one category such as birds, or skip animals you've already picked.

Under 'Category', choose 'All Animals' or a single category. The number on each button is how many animals can still be drawn from it.

Set 'How many to pick' with the − / + buttons or the 1, 3, 5 and 10 shortcuts. The maximum is 20.

Press 'Pick Animal' (the button reads 'Pick 3 Animals' when you've chosen more than one). Emojis flick past for about a second, then the result appears. Several animals come back as a numbered list.

'Copy results' copies the names with their numbers. 'Recent Picks' below keeps the last 20.

Pro Tips

Animals drawn together never repeat. To avoid repeats across separate draws as well, turn on 'Skip animals already picked'.
With 'All Animals', mammals come up most. They are 40 of the 75, so a single pick is a mammal about 53% of the time. Choose a category first if you want an even spread.

Which animals are included?

75 in total: 40 mammals, 11 birds, 12 aquatic animals, 4 reptiles & amphibians and 8 insects & arachnids. They range from dogs, cats and pandas to sloths, otters and scorpions.

The same animal came up again.

Animals drawn together never repeat, but each new draw starts again from the full list. Turn on 'Skip animals already picked' and an animal won't come back until you press 'Clear picks'.

Can I change the list of animals?

You can't add animals or remove individual ones. You can narrow the draw to one category, and to pick from your own list, type the animals into the Roulette Spinner.
