What file format does the download produce?

The tool downloads your drawing as a PNG (Portable Network Graphics) file with a white background. PNG format provides lossless quality, meaning your drawing appears exactly as you see it on screen. The file is named 'drawing-[timestamp].png' with the current timestamp to avoid overwrites.

Is my drawing saved automatically, or do I need to download it?

Drawings are NOT automatically saved. You must click the 'Download' button to save your work to your device. The canvas only maintains history (undo/redo) during your current session. If you close the browser or refresh the page, your drawing will be lost unless you've downloaded it first.

How many undo steps can I use?

The canvas remembers up to 50 actions (draw strokes, eraser strokes, clear canvas). When you exceed 50 steps, the oldest actions are removed from history. Both 'Undo' and 'Redo' buttons become available after your first drawing action, letting you step backward and forward through your drawing history.

Does the eraser actually erase, or does it draw white?

The eraser draws white color over your existing drawing. Since the canvas has a white background, erasing appears to remove content. This means eraser strokes are treated as drawing actions and can be undone. For more control, you can manually select white color from the palette, which gives the same effect as the eraser with visible brush size.

Can I change the canvas size?

No — the drawing surface is always 800×600 pixels, and the file you download is always 800×600. The canvas is only scaled visually to fit your screen, so it looks smaller on a narrow window and larger on a wide one, but the saved image is unchanged. Resizing the browser window or zooming does not change the output size.

Does it work on tablets and phones with touch?
